Matthew Haley, DVM
After graduating from MTSU, Dr. Haley attended Tuskegee University to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. In addition to earning his DVM, he interned at the Montgomery Zoo (in Alabama) for six years, where he was able to hone his exotics skill set.
He returned to Tennessee where he was born and raised to practice veterinary medicine. He felt strongly that the other pets — the exotics — did not have access to the same level of veterinary care that dogs and cats do.
After eight years of practice in a local multiple-doctor practice, he struck out on his own to pursue his personal dream of owning his own veterinary practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Haley enjoys sports (especially the University of Tennessee athletics), kayaking, boating, and spending time with his family and friends.
