We recognize many pet owners have demanding schedules which can make caring for your pet a challenge. At the same time, we know your pets are part of your family and you want to make sure they are in good hands throughout their life. This is why we offer Same day, urgent care appointments at selected times of the day.

Keep in mind, although we accept same-day, urgent care appointments, we may have to limit those urgent care appointments to earlier than the posted hours, determined by how many patients are already admitted into the hospital. To avoid being turned away, call ahead to see if we are still taking urgent care appointments and check in immediately upon your arrival.

EMERGENCY SAME-DAY URGENT CARE APPOINTMENTS

The team will triage your pet upon check-in. Yes, just like human ER's, we will place priority on the more critical patients first. Pets that are actively seizing, collapsing, having trouble breathing, or have been hit by a car, will be taken to the treatment area of the hospital immediately. Right away the team will get to work stabilizing your pet, those minutes can be precious.

NON-EMERGENCY SAME-DAY URGENT CARE APPOINTMENTS

We will do our best to accommodate same-day urgent care appointments that are NOT emergencies. Wait times for these appointments can be as little as 20-30 minutes to an hour or more and will vary depending on our pre-existing caseload.

Things to remember, hospitalization for the day and/or overnight may be necessary for your pet to receive the care it needs. A phone call prior to your arrival will give you a more accurate timeline for being seen and also help us to prepare if your pet is experiencing an emergency situation.
